Clay Haugen

Clay began his career as a low-voltage technician on Vestas’s wind turbine production line. He was quickly promoted to Team Lead, where he oversaw the production of the 3MW drivetrain, managing a team of 10-15 technicians. His responsibilities included daily and weekly quality control, meeting production deadlines, and employee and job management. Recognizing Clay’s valuable skill set, Vestas expanded his responsibilities to include an overseas project building a prototype wind turbine.

 

Clay joined ISI as a private contractor in 2022, supporting seasonal work, and quickly became an irreplaceable member of the team. His progression continued from private contractor to ISI Technician to ISI Team Lead. In 2025, leveraging his strong leadership skills, Clay assumed his current role as an ISI Project Manager.
